Recent Consulting Work

Amy has successfully guided entertainment production and digital companies through periods of growth and transition. Most recently, she worked with three organizations, each with distinct business models and goals, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their objectives.

  • Top YouTube Creator: Amy consulted for a top YouTube creator, recognized as a Forbes "Top Creator" in 2024, who produces scripted content with a global workforce of over 150 employees across 100,000 square feet of studio space in Burbank. Working closely with the CEO, Amy oversaw operations, facilities, human resources, legal, and physical production. Her contributions included building the 2025 production department budget, establishing scalable operational processes and procedures, assessing organizational and production risk, and developing company-wide manuals and guidelines. She reviewed key documents such as legal agreements, insurance policies, and lease contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. In addition to these strategic initiatives, Amy rebuilt and strengthened the HR department, evaluated HR compliance, reviewed and recommended payroll providers, advised on talent needs by interviewing candidates and screening resumes, and implemented changes that positioned the organization for sustained growth.

  • Production Services Start-Up: Amy advised a production services start-up, an offshoot of a payroll company, in their expansion to position themselves as a trusted production services provider for major streamers. From December 2023 to February 2024, she laid the foundation for this strategic growth by leading them to appropriately structure their legal entities and mitigate corporate risks. She established essential workflows, processes, and procedures to support production services operations and provided introductions to key vendors to facilitate company success.

  • Production Company: Amy worked with an award-winning unscripted production company that produces content for major platforms like Netflix and Hulu, with offices in Los Angeles, New York, and London. From April to October 2024, she supported the production department as they scaled to meet increased demand. Her work included evaluating team dynamics, optimizing tools and systems, and enhancing cross-departmental communication with teams such as casting, legal, and accounting to ensure smooth operations and support sustainable growth.

As a former COO, Amy has successfully led large-scale operations, overseeing strategic planning, process optimization, team development, and content production across scripted, unscripted, documentary, live events, feature films, short-form, and digital platforms. 

 

With four years of experience managing HR as part of her leadership role at an award-winning international production company, she brings deep expertise in employee relations, talent acquisition, and HR compliance. She is also a SHRM-CP accredited professional and a certified executive coach, further enhancing her ability to support leaders and organizations as they navigate change and growth.
